Deadly unknown snake kills 2 in Somalia

Damn. The deadliest snake I've heard of in waqooyi somalia is called abeeso but Somali victims of abeeso used to survive often. Black Mamba has a fatality rate of 100 percent regardless of victims age. all it takes is a single bite and you're guaranteed to die in 30 minutes. I don't think black Mamba exist in waqooyi otherwise I wouldve known.
Well if you don't know now you know n***a

I didn't know black mamba deadly snakes were in somalia. Then again most of somalia is wild territory. The animals flee when you build cities.

abeeso also lives in large numbers the area between djibouti and hargeisa. it's the deadliest snake I've heard of back home but it's venom isn't fatal. black mamba is the deadliest snake on earth

Abeeso is a harmless and we used to poke a stick in it and wake her up all the time,it is a lazy and moves very slow and don't bother no body, it would sleep over top of tree for months during the whole summer and wake up when it rains, it is a strange reptile indeed.

Black Mamba and the Egyptian cobra are common in the north. I’ve seen Egyptian cobra outside Hargeisa. I advise people not to go to Nasa Hablo mountains!

One species I haven’t seen is the ‘Red spitting cobra’ that’s also very common in Somalia and apparently caused UN peacekeeping troops a lot of damage in the early 90’s when they were patrolling the wilderness of south Somalia.

abeeso (puff adder) are far from being harmless. they produce potent venom that can lead to death in some cases.
