Day President Farmaajo lost in 2022.

Dictatorship will never ever happen in Somalia again. Farmaajo should have stepped down and then compete for the next presidential elections “democratically”. Not only has he lost the elections but he ruined his presidential career by burning all bridges. Siyaad Barre was at least smart. He was looking after the major tribes in the region while Farmaajo tried assassinate their leaders.

During the protest?
Yep. His Qatari overlords were bad advisors with no real understanding of how Somali clan dynamics works. It’s impossible to scare Somalis off with mere brute force. Only way to get your way in Somalia be it in Xamar, Garoowe or Baydhabo is through bribing clan elders constantly which the Qatari’s were not ready for. The guy fired bullets against several key HAG politicians. He also upset reer Puntland and Jubaland by constantly plotting against them. Only some RX, Madow weyne, Banaadiri clans and few Darood yar yar clans have his support at the next elections which is insignificant. No Hawiye will vote for him. Dir are by default backing Kheyre just like last elections. Reer Puntland might be king makers once again just like last elections and I’m 💯 sure they will back Kheyre over Farmaajo incase Deni doesn’t make it through. Kheyre is the only guy that all major Somali clan families are kool with and the IC including Qatar know this.

Brute force used by Ethiopians worked on Somalis in DDS

when was the last time someone stepped out of line there

Farmaajo is inconsequential to a great Somali state. The Qatari trained spy chief couldn’t save him as even he got sacked last second. Not sure what the plan was, but it fell through for sure. He won’t come back and that’s for the best. Somalia needs to move on.
All Somalis in Somalia are heavily militarised. DDS Somalis have nothing.
They were disarmed during Farmaajo regime while he cozied up with abiy. He was natural enemy to OG after his tiff with madoobe. ONLF was heavily weakened during after 2019 onwards. Between PL & JL, I’m not sure which one hated him more 😂

He was softie for a savage country like Somalia. A softie but a good man who never stole. He took anything from Somalia.
A too harsh man would break the country. Don’t confuse harshness and decisiveness, Somalis need a decisive leader who is always seen taking council and rules by agreement, that is what Taliye means

They use to have something but not anymore because they were defeated by brute force

do you still believe brute force doesn’t work on Somalis?

Ethiopia is a nation with 120 million people. The country is unstable and divided with power being constantly shifted from Amhara to Tigray to Oromo etc. Somalis never had the same type of weapons that Menelik was given by the western powers.

That’s true, compare Somali historical memories of Adal to ajuraan, one ruled through council and the other through force, Ajuuran was overthrown but Adal ruled for hundreds of years.

You are correct brother but I think you have the two mixed up. It’s Ajuuraan that lasted 5-6 centuries while Adal broke into smaller principalities (Awssa and Harar emirates) within a century and half of its existence.

Count Ifat as part of Adal’s history because they were the same dynasty, and Ajuuran basically ruled only a small area for most of that 5-6 centuries, it’s age of glory was 100 years before the silcis/biimal over throw them

Ajuuraan were huge brother and lasted from 1200s to 1600s. Literally the same family all these years unlike Ifat-Adal that had more then one family rule over it

They had built up many satellite states across the geopolitical globe such as the Sultanate of Bale in Ethiopia led by Sheikh Hussein Baliyalle born to a Hawiye family from Merca and educated in Saudi Arabia. And Governorates of Maldives ruled by Abdulaziz al Maqdishi, Madagascsar and Pate as well as trade companies in Sofala (Mozambique).

I let Hairi Omar Muddri Agiuran tell me about it. A rather cultured and intelligent Scech in his eighties, the legend of the war between Agiuran and Hirab as it has come down in the stories of the various generations. The entire Somali peninsula up to Mombasa was once under the rule of the Agiuran. Powerful kabyle of the Hawia clan second generation of Samali.

In a British paper in 1948, we find several references of Ajuuraan control of the interior, particularly the 7 wells of the eastern Ogaden (including Warder, Walwal, Gerlogubi) and the Nogal (Nugaal).

The remnants of the Ajuuraan state that survived till the colonial era include the Olol Dinle Sultanate of Qalaafe and Baareey. There is also the Sultanate or Qadiriyah Sheikhdom of Bardera led by Abdi Osman, which had been one of the early Italian protectorate signitaries.

I'm pretty sure during that whole farmaajo capitulation period you said you would get on a flight to xamar and fight for him :heh:

Saying to murusade your people support shabab and you are president is low when you yourself are a laangaab warsangeli. Speak to him directly ama afka naga qabso

I wouldn't talk when your figurehead does sujood for kuffar
