I went on it once I got lead to sites trading stuff and offering hitman services and then one of the links I pressed sent me to some cp site
I got spooked and got off

Apparently people disguise links and also set links up as traps to find your location or info about you. I didn't want to turn up on some watch list or to be targeted and I would advice agaisnt going on it if you don't know what your doing

This was a long time ago and it's not like how people say it is everything is over exaggerated but it's still dangerous you could get set up by seeing things you ain't meant to see by the cops.

it does exist, but the government might track you if they find out you browse it. Never got on it because i am afraid my curiosity will lead me to places that traumatize me for life, and it's also super dangerous to use if you don't have a deep understanding of internet security (don't wanna get hacked by niggas from that place). Also fun fact, there is a difference between the deep web and the dark web. the deep web you can access with your normal chrome browser, this bit of the web contains all the pages not indexed by search-engines (you know those long weird URLs you get sometimes, those are stored in the deep web. If another person somehow got a hold of that URL then they'd be able to access whatever is stored there. It could be files for example). the dark web requires other tools to access and is where lots of shady stuff happens

Not true, the "dark web" is simply an umbrella term for subnets and protocols that often aren't used by the average person (not installed by default).. The term could easily include some clear-web websites simply because the average person visits only a handful of sites nowadays

Frazzledrip existing is debatable at best. Also you should most likely stop generalising, see above: the "dark web" includes potentially tens of thousands of protocols, most of them not even used by criminals.. The Gopher protocol is an example.

Most of the sites are simply honeypots set up by the "feds" in order to track down the most gullible of "criminals"

All in all it's just another section of the wider Internet, nothing too special about it other than the means of accessing it
