He will be returning to Muqdisho so that he can denounce the proposed constitution changes in front of golaha shacabka.
He’s a sitting MP and former presidents wield a lot of influence in Somalia as there is no formidable opposition in parliament just particular MPs loyal to their, clan or linked to a president or former president.Cheese men left presidency of Somalia almost 2 years ago but people still obsessed with him why?
lol he will probably stay silent never seen a bigger hypocrite than Hassan, the guy have a video contradicting everything he is doing today on the internet. You could probably make an archive out of it.That’s Pretty wild tbh this is the same thing hsm was speaking out against when he was mucarad

Yep, why do you think they purchase residential properties in other countries? It’s mostly used by MPs who have security concerns about being in the capital and/or their constituency. So they live abroad and travel to the capital when they feel like it, funny enough I believe parliament pays for both ends of the trip to and from. All former presidents are granted and entitled to be a member of parliament until they die. So they will always be involved in politics just to a smaller and smaller degree as they become irrelevant with time.Is it possible to be a MP without being present in the country?
lol Somalia will always be a tangle of political alliances interests and fighting. Never will be black and white like Dems vs Rep in the US.Why can't things be simple man? I feel like I'm in a playground when it comes to the nations political class.![]()
True but it does get tiresome though. Would be nice to have a boring decade but I'm being hopeful.lol Somalia will always be a tangle of political alliances interests and fighting. Never will be black and white like Dems vs Rep in the US.
Can’t trust no one in Somalia niggas are like chameleons.Interesting! I will watch from the sidelines. Wouldn’t be surprised if he gets assassinated.
Wouldn't that validate the opposition. Organizing a protest is already a bit much but if Mr.Cheese dies then the whole administration's image is up in flames.Interesting! I will watch from the sidelines. Wouldn’t be surprised if he gets assassinated.
True, but these guys don’t have the IQ to understand the implications this could have. Farmaajo tried assassinate HSM and AAW as well. Truly though, HSM lost credibility long ago even amongst the Hawiye. He is only making things worse for himselfWouldn't that validate the opposition. lol he shouldn’t trust any one but his own subclan members to guard him, wouldn’t be surprised tho if he tries to make a publicity stunt and walks around without any security. Somali politics is about showmanship more than anything.Interesting! I will watch from the sidelines. Wouldn’t be surprised if he gets assassinated.
Man the political class back home are some bottom barrel shit. I don't know if it's because we're in diaspora and within nations that function but I feel some of the regular folk here could be better MPs. (Not all since a majority are equally deranged.) I dread the next elections.True, but these guys don’t have the IQ to understand the implications this could have. Farmaajo tried assassinate HSM and AAW as well.
