They don't all have the same lineage. Sudanese Arabs are multiple tribes. And from the genetic studies I have seen, some of them have Arab paternal lineages, some Cushitic, and some South Sudanese type of lineage.

They probably all claim Arabian paternal descent, but not all of them are.

Their overall ancestry is mostly pre-Arab, as is obvious from how they look.
