I think you didn't read properly, I said the somali script is in latin. Somalis never had a widely agreed upon and used script. Osmaniya and all the other scripts were rejected for a good reason by knowledgeable men.

Chauvanistic character, inflated ego and inferiority complex don't go together very well and result in the likes of you akhi. I'm not trying to insult you but the likes of you from around the world have gathered together in the virtual realem to seek validation, authenticity and dominance from other nations.

This is an unhealthy obsession huuno. Some might say it's cause you might've been bullied for being somali but I think not. It seems to me to be a coping mechanism with the fact you are from one of the most failed states in the world.

Wasn't because of tribalism. Osmanya was considered but because of the only few typewriters available left behind by Europeans in Latin script, so to make things easier they made Somali in Latin. If there were typewriters in osmanya script then we would've switched got that.
