Just curious if anyone here built their own PC with the specs they have and what year they built it.

I built mine in 2017 and the specs are as follows:

AMD Ryzen 1600 Overclocked to 3.8 Ghz
16 GB of DDR4 RAM @ 3200 Mhz
256 GB Samsung SSD
Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060
MSI Tomahawk Motherboard
NZXT Case

Total: $1200

I mainly built mine to play league of legends and PUBG but nowadays I just use it for uni and watching movies. I'd definitely recommend an AMD processor and a mid tier graphics card as anything more is pretty much overkill unless you're playing AAA titles in 144hz.

Tbh I have an Iphone customization isn't really a priority for me when it comes to phones

I use an old pc the reason I built that one last year was to play simulation games but I never had the time. I might break it apart and sell it as parts.

you only need 16 rams, the only reason for someone to need 64 is intensive Data processings or 3D rendering. Its waste of money brother, you could have fed my family instead of wasting money.
