Somalis are the best in doing that, this is an accurate photo of what daily interviews are like:

Lol I meant they would have someone being interviewed like that^^ let's say about a project, but they would be speaking but the newsreader is still narrating and you can't hear the person being interviewed. Seems odd.

Also i think jabuuti does do afar news not sure

It is Semitic. It was wrongly classified as Cushitic by White linguists. I have some Bilen in my family. The language is very similar to Tigre-Tigrinya.

I knew it. You're a Bilen. It's why you're constantly putting them in the Semitic category.

I prefer to take the word of linguistic professors who've dedicated their lives to studying the language. Bilen is a dialect if Agew, which is Cushitic. The reason tigrey/Tigrinya has similarities is because Agew languages are the substratum to the parasitic tigrey/Tigrinya. Just like Beja is the substratum to tigre and other Agew languages for the substratum for Amhara.

They both have affected each other both ways:farole:. Bilen especially.

I'm not denying that. But Ethiosemitic languages have been heavily influenced by Ethiocushitic languages. It's why Amhara and tigrey don't sound like other Semitic languages, especially the former.
'Sound' as in phonology? Even Hebrew can easily be distinguished by listening, well from my perspective.:icon lol:

The rest of the group lol sound wise

Hebrew spoken by modern Israelis is nonsensical garbage. That's because most of the "Jews" in Israel are actually just Europeans. They can pronounce Hebraic words no more than they can Arabic words. Real Hebrew phonology is closer to Aramaic.

Hebrew was a harsh Canaanite language related to Phoenician and Philistine. It didn't sound like the European gibberish spoken today.

But that's Aramaic though, Old Hebrew had similar phonology to the Modern Hebrew spoken now, and most unique sounds are because of Aramaic's influence.

I just find it easy to tell because of the presence of v and how guttural it sounds lol.

Amxaari sounds very different to all the rest:susp: wonder why it was classed with them
