I think curses are real whether human or godly but also animals and even plants and air and sky and universe and jinns. Why I say this? I know many Somalis who were cursed by their mother or father or grandparent and if U look at their life their always in some calamity or problem even tho they don't see it.

Their ruuh might be clean and their even religious so their Akhiro only god knows, but their nafs and dunya won't escape disasters and no amount of prayers will change what is upon them.
