What amazes me is how different these old politicians were- savvy, intelligent, capable and very professional you see it in many if not most of them. I don't know what hole this current lot came out of

Can someone write a summary of how they aided equatorial guniea . My Somali is not good 😌

He gives an overview of the geography and history of Equatorial Guinea.

He explains that Somalia came to help them after the Spanish abruptly left their former colony with the belief that it would collapse in their absence.

Equatorial Guinea seeks assistance from the OAU and sends some officials to Mogadishu. A number of countries seek to help them in various ways. Somalia chose to help them for three reasons:

1. It is their obligation as a member of the OAU and a signatory to the pledge to rid Africa of colonial rule.

2. The Somali government wishes to gain diplomatic soft power and eliminate the image of being an aid receiver.

3. To show the people who had previously said that Djibouti won't survive without the French that they are wrong and an African country can stand up on its two feet.

A few more remarks and then he ends by saying that every nation has something they boast about and then says the best thing a nation can boast about is having good, capable people.

He says that the Somali government should continue and make it a priority to send Somali professionals abroad where they can help other nations and that he is confident if this is done it will create a lot of mutual respect and goodwill.

Every group of people has been through times of humiliation. May Allah swt allow us to move beyond this zero-sum, qabyaalad fueled mindset and make us into a country of strong Muslims who uphold the rights of their brothers and work together for the betterment of the nation and all peoples around the world.
