It's a medieval strategy game you choose a region and manage it. You can fight, scheme, sway your opponents while simultaneously managing your economy, army, forming alliances. The game is starts at a date such as 1066 AD continues at a pace you choose. That means you can set it to fast and the days go by in seconds which means a lot of things happen such as invaders or people plotting against you or you can slow it down and wait a longer period between intrigues.
