I'm an avid football fan, I grew up watching Juventus since I was very young with my father and uncles. They were also fans. I employ a few Italian vocabulary like most Somalis, words like fargetto, occhialo,etc. I'm also aware of Italy past and current relationship with our end of the world.

I'm also aware of how much Italy and it's citizens value African talents in their current society. I'm also aware of how they portray/minimize African influence on their society as a whole.

Anyway I've seen two videos, I'll start with the first one. It's a fairly positive one.

Almost no Somalis there.

As the local history nerd here.. about Italians, their darkness does not come from Arabs, but because they descend more from Middle Eastern Neolithic farmers (~5,000 years ago) and were less affected by the lighter Indo-European migrations from Eastern Europe (Ukraine area) that went all over Europe soon after. This is why Germanics look whiter than them.

This also applies to Spaniards, the Portuguese, Sardinians, Cypriots, and Greeks.
