What happened to all the politicians during the coup? Like what happened to Aden Abdulleh and why was it so easy for siad barre to take over in practically a bloodless coup? Why did no one counter coup and what role did qabil have on it? Siad barre was marehan so surely clan dynamics would prevent him from taking the capital so why was it successful? Did he command the respect of the army and his men because he was a general? Was it his service in the 1964 border war. So many questions

That’s it? Was their widespread support for communism amid mps which may be why they didn’t act. I mean it makes since since Ethiopia was a strong western ally and they gave away our lands so it would make sense to turn to the communist bloc right
