"Protesters gathered outside a Philadelphia police precinct Monday night hours after police shot and killed a man waving a knife in the afternoon, CBS Philly reports. The victim was identified as 27-year old Walter Wallace Jr."

One witness told CBS Philly that he and several others tried to get the man with the knife to drop it prior to the shooting.

I'm not sure if this was a different case or the same one. Society is finally standing up for people who wave knives around in public.

EDIT: okay, apparently it says Philadelphia in both of them, so I think it's the same case
