I feel strongly about this. I have an issue with cooking oil. When I was nine, I went to a relative’s house for the weekend, and I would get sick whenever I ate their food. The meals had the same ingredients I was used to, but they tasted like something was old or off. After the weekend was over, I told my parents what had happened. They believed the cooking oil was old and had gone bad. Ever since that experience, I’ve avoided eating at other people's houses.

I can tell just by the oder of the food

Oh thts interesting. Unless the food has too much oil i cant really tell if the oil is bad or not.

Oil in general makes me ill, i'd rather cook with butter or spray oils

Get yourself a expensive stainless steel like All-Clad, its worth your health, don't get those pans with the forever chemicals that poison your food.
