They secretly support SL pursuing recognition by any means necessary, including establishing links with Israel and/or being complicity in the genocidal relocation of Palestinians. Those that are brave and honest like that easy character on here and the twitter contingent support SL/israel collaboration. The ones who are cowards and trolls hid behind “your wanlaweyn”, “don’t talk about muh Isaaq you jeberti”. They’re just deflectors and insecure folks who are unable to state an opinion on this topic without descending into fdk tactics.
In any case, it does not matter what they think because the prominent Isaaq elites and Cirros cabinet, ie those who speak English and have access to Israeli/western politicians, believe that courting Zionists could lead to the golden calve aka recognition. They believe Trump might be the one. As a political scientist, I understand the Isaaq politicians stance from a logical perspective. Morally, I disagree with it and the Israeli/Uae interference causes more problems in the long run (see Sudan, Syria, Libya, etc).
Personally I don’t see a difference between supporting the MOU and Israeli collaboration. Both tracks lead to the same agenda for the Middle East and North Africa (israeli/UaE/Ethiopian alliance)
