Russia is a dictatorship, meaning their citizens are not responsible for the government. Ilhan said sanctioning Russia will hurt citizens who are not responsible for Putin’s actions.
Israel however, is a “democracy”. Israelis continually vote for leaders that break international law. Therefore, they are responsible for their leaders actions and should get sanctioned.
Then why does she support isolation of Saudi Arabia and sanctions, since they did not elected bin salman. Btw Putin is very popular in Russia, about 80%

Actually Palestine is considered a state by the United Nations, hence why they changed their name to “State of Palestine” after the UN vote.
