I see celebrations are happening in Mogadishu, pardon me I am not in a celebrating mood, but lets appreciate for a moment the peaceful transfer of power and continuation of state building, I don't see this as a set back or a dark day in Somali history, I see this simply as a political win for an opposing political ideology. This election was interesting I have seen 4 major camps and I hope Hassan Sh seeing how divided the parliament is now works with these 4 camps to maintain good governance and work to further improve the state of Somalia. I believe Hassan Sh will be taken over a much better nation that he gave to Farmaajo in 2017, the coffers are full, the military are jacked up, the institution build both legally and physically, the country has alot of good allies, Hassan Sh has alot of tools at his disposal to rearrange his personal interest with a growing nation's interest, I do not expect he will pick up from where he left, I expect he will meet the new standards and perhaps improve on them.
Farmaajo encourages Somalis to work with their new President, this is responsible of Farmaajo, and an honourable end to his term.
Lets remember the Presidential seat isn't powerful on its own, the person occupying it is the one who can make it powerful or weak.
