I say bur. I'm an casariya eater. I say bur, canjeelo, caano barawe, ii cuun, shushumow, xalwo, etc. I don't say kackac or quraac (except for breakfast).

What is ii cuun, the name is self explained but what kind of food is it.

I know it as bur. so this is how languages change? in a few hundred years, waqooyis and koonfur somalis might speak different languages that have similarities like some european languages.

It's a biscuit. Tbh, casariya is a bunch of macmacaan, sambuus, bur, put in a to go bag. Caano barawe is my favorite but it's pretty much sugar and caano in a cube. My dad taught me all about it he said he used to eat it all the time in Xamar. Xamar cadcad mostly make it. In Toronto we have an casariya spot :wow1:

You've never been to Al Aruba?

You think I understand a word those cadcads say:russ:

I walk in like "waryahe buskutka ee dhibic yaro casaanleh isii. "

"Ma iicun rabta aboowe"

:susp:"War kucuni maaye naclad yahow, buskut un baankaa dalbaday "

They sound like spells, shushumow especially

Also, why is bur used in burbur? have you non-northerners changed quraac into a destructive food?
