That’s how it should be
But we make mistakes
Every days a learning process
The goal is we learn from
Our mistakes
Right?

:whoa:

What are you learning if you're going overboard with regarding everyone as assholes? instead of overreacting keep it simple like @Aria suggested. Don't let other people's action change you. Why waste this short life being bitter? :icon lol:

Your cancelled for this :)

Let me give you a life advice. Never be too nice or too helpful. I have a feeling you will like this poe,m it contains a lot of wisdom.
https://sourcebooks.fordham.edu/halsall/source/640hangedpoems.asp

"And he, who shows kindness to one not deserving it, his
praise will be a reproach against him, and he will repent of
having shown kindness.
....
And he, who is always seeking to bear the burdens of
other people, and does not excuse himself from it,
will one day by reason of his abasement, repent.'

You need to hang out with more cadaan people. They excell in finding the right balance of almost everything. The older and wiser I get, the more I appreciate cadaans.

I have an IQ of 300
I'm not naive, and so I'm not going to blindly trust any Tom, Dick or Harry that just waltzes right into my life.
Trust is earned.
But still, I try to be nice, even to people I don't even know. You never know how you might improve their day.
It could be a throwaway compliment or an observation that could totally improve a person's day, or even stop them from making some awful decision that they might have made had you not done what you did.
Trust =/= trying to be a decent person.
Try to be a well-adjusted, well-meaning individual. People will WANT you to trust them at that point. They'll feel like your trust is worth earning.

Well, yeah, if you're carelessly nice, you'll get eaten alive. But I'd say nice is still a good thing. Some people out there are naturally nice. I think there's a difference between that and not being cognizant of the human tendency towards self-interest. If you keep in mind that generally, people are out for themselves, you can probably train yourself not to feel blindsided by their narcissism, and to be able to sift through the phony when you see it. You may also need to develop some narcissism of your own tbh.

I'm very Machiavellian in real-life. People don't know my sinister moves until it's too late and I already screwed them over. :siilaanyolaugh:

i also believe in machiavellian teachings. Its the only truly way to win. Sacrificing others to an extent to get to your destination is what it means to achieving your goals. Im not xaasid though.
