The food regulation laws are different for us in europe and you guys in the US. Maybe it extends to canada too but there's stuff in your food that's illegal here which explains why yours tastes better. Coke zero is disgusting here and tastes nothing like the original.

I know. I've tasted Coke Zero in Scandinavia and its disgusting. But every drink over there tastes different. Even fast food like McDonald's tastes different. The McDonalds coffee in Europe is the nastiest coffee I ever drank whereas McDonalds coffee here is the best coffee I've ever drank.

Aspartame is fine. Studies have proven this though
