Sometimes people don't understand what they don't know so you've to go about things in a certain way. The obstacles he faced wasn't that severe so he got lucky. Laakin it got me thinking don't dumar who're in similar circumstance face the same issue back home ? What solutions do they employ to circumvent this challenge ?

This man has done a great service for his people. I'm a bit salty that he got back with the woman that tried to sabotage and abandoned him, but he at least stuck to his guns and let her walk. Yes and it's even further complicated by FGM. I've heard of reusable sanitary kits being given to students but other then that I'm not sure.

I understand but you do know that there're different types of modification to the FG. I'm guessing you're thinking of the worst forms of it which i do agree without a doubt complicates it severely. Most complications arise due to the nature of the modification ie how it has been carried out.

Due to somalia's situation i believe that the traditional way remains prevalent as the outreach you've mentioned only targets a specific demographic and even then only a minority receive it. When you factor in our conservative culture and how it's considered to be "ceeb" for dumarka to talk about it & even seek help when they really need it, it truly complicates the entire issue all together. Nonetheless they still find ways to deal with it ilaahay ha uu fududeyo
