How about in your country; I know the US has some odd city names, could imagine Canada, and Australia also do, specially Australia. Now, Arab city names would be a treat, if that more interesting.

Definitely yes for 'Dhuusamareeb', but 'isku shuban' is a normal name, no? 'Isku shub' meaning blend, methinks unless of course reer Bari are practising dark humour, which is highly unlikely, in which case 'shuban - diarrhea' is an odd name for a city. Is that what you are thinking about?
