We need better representations not youtubers. Where are the football players, actors, boxers, etc

Somali parents were uneducated and didn't give a f*ck about youth sports. That's why we don't have any somali NBA players or footballers in the big leagues.

Basketball has started to become a middle class sport too so it's harder for kids from low income families to make it to the league.

I just wish somali parents were more confident in allowing their children to choose sports academic rather than tell them "it won't take you far" it would reduce gangbangers that is sadly plaguing our community If more somali boys trained and opted for sports career. We are a talented bunch but we don't use our talent.

What? Middle class sport?

In america the main pipeline to the NBA is through school and AAU basketball.

Young basketball players pretty much play basketball year round. Its free to play with schools but AAU is where basketball starts to get expensive. If your an American hooper you pretty much have no chance to play college/pro level basketball if you don't play AAU.

AAU teams are expensive to play for. Lots of college scouts show up to games to recruit players. Some players can even go pro in Europe right after highschool with their stats in high school and AAU basketball.

Also when it comes to basketball kids start training young. College scouts aren't paying attention to kids under 12 years since most elementary schools don't have official basketball teams. So the way kids train is by competing with an AAU team to prepare themselves for middle school basketball. 12 and under AAU leagues are taken very seriously. If you aren't a good hooper by 12 years old your pretty much fucked. Especially if you aren't 7ft.

Some parents are even willingly to spend money on personal trainers as well and they also send their kids to basketball camps to train with former pros. Also these AAU teams still require you to pay for your own gear as well.

most of the current NBA players come from middle and upper class families. Most of them also had a parent that played either pro a college level basketball.

Poor niggas got kicked out of the recruiting and scouting system once middle class families decided to start taking youth basketball seriously.

“Putting someone on” on to what?
We should celebrate another person becoming rich?
I’ll get called a hater if I don’t glaze him?
Here’s the thing, chunkz isn’t a divisive figure.
He’s mainstream, and we know how the mainstream establishment works, they’re all politically correct.
He should learn politics and become a group leader. Not in the tax right off kind of way. But a literal force to be reckoned with.
So what we laughed, I can’t remember a single joke

Allahumma Barik.

The hate for him on twitter was crazy because Somalis get upset when non somalis say bad things about him but were mocking the f*ck out of him the other day. Again proving the fact that Somalis have no self awareness, dignity or respect for their name/people.
What tweet did he make?
