Not to be too judgmental, as Maya was raised by a single cadaan mother and an absent Somali father who never raised her in our culture or religion. Anyone trying to mock her should have the galls to call out her father a hundred times first.

I knew a girl like Maya who has a white mother but Somali father who is completely absent from her life. I believe he slept with her mother and got pregnant with their child and he left and started a family with a Somali woman. There is nothing wrong mentioning his clan and abtrisin, he never used it for FKD. His personal life and his love affection is personal to him, it's weird to talk about a person love affection and start dissing him for being rejected or that his put into a friend zone by Maya Jama. That's between him and Maya, everyone knows Chunkz ethnicity is somali and that Maya dad is Somali as well. So he was addressing how closely related he is to Maya.

I dont mind if a somali politically rejects somaliland. I understand that they are fighting for midnimo (togetherness). I don't agree as I'm pro somaliland but I respect that opinion. I refute and ridicule somaliland and Isaaq propaganda for political, moral reasons, and because I believe their philosophy of violent separatism is a danger to northern/western Somalis at large (as proved by the MOU debacle and the Laascaanood war.) as much as possible, I try to refrain from using the term SL to legitimise the violent clan project.

This thread has gone way left I don’t know why Somaliland or Laascaanood is being brought into this. I don’t know if @giire12 did make such comments if he did then it is heartbreaking or I don’t know if you @Riftvalley have an agenda. I don’t like what chunkz does at times but it’s clear people use him as a laughing stock. If he wants to talk about being from the same clan as Maya Jama then let him. He isn’t the only person who has done this, there are other Somalis who will suck up to a Somali influencer for being the same clan as them. Walaahi it’s disturbing I just read his comments and it is completely unwarranted. Many Somalis will brag about their tribes, I remember working with a few Somalis and they would associate their features with the tribe they come from. The bracelets you see there is one for nearly every tribe. I think Maya has a playful friendship with chunkz and her friendzone comments should be taken in jest. But mods need to lock this thread because it’s taken a disturbing turn.
