Why do Somalis the second they get any political or historical consciousness start to LARP about fictional idyllic scenarios. I have been guilty of this myself long ago. Why is this phenomenon so consistent?

I have yet to see one of these LARPers dreams come into fruition. It’s all talk over the internet but they never go back to Somalia and improve the nation like they say.
