You think the Europeans were so benevolent they went to Africa to build the countries up? To help the natives thrive once they left? Please be for real.

Every colonized African country was originally built by and for European exploitation. In many African countries, including the Congo, the only roads and railroads that were built during colonization were to the mines and oil fields for resource extraction and then to the port to ship them out for $$$. Major cities and towns had no highways or railroads built to connect them. The cities were designed by and for the settlers/colonizers. They disenfranchised the natives and relegated them to “the help” and did not teach or transfer any knowledge about industrialization or innovative techniques.

Please explain to me why after colonization, the literacy rates in African countries were as low as 5-10%? I thought the Europeans were there "to help"? LOL

Also people really underestimate the role that western governments play in destabilizing African countries, to this day. Why are all the leaders that attempt to build their country up and free it from foreign interference always mysteriously "assassinated" (Thomas Sankara, Lumumba, Gaddafi and many others) and always with corrupt puppet leaders to take their place?

I guess it’s just easier to think that Africans are just “too dumb” though. Like I said, the mental colonization and brainwashing is real.

Medical procedures performed in ancient Africa before they were performed in Europe include vaccination, autopsy, limb traction and broken bone setting, bullet removal, brain surgery, skin grafting, filling of dental cavities, installation of false teeth, what is now known as Caesarean section, anesthesia and tissue cauterization (3). In addition, African cultures preformed surgeries under antiseptic conditions universally when this concept was only emerging in Europe (2).
