i wont disagree with this, we are one nation of people characterized by the capital city of mogadishu.
Everytime i hear little mogadishu in here and little mogadishu there. I cringe! f*ck it!!

Most capital cities are actually not in financial hubs. They are normally more low key areas and as safe as can be.

At my previous job I had many Chinese colleagues (from China on work visas) and when they asked me where I was from and I said Somalia most of them (college educated) did not know where it was located.

Somalia? Where is that?

And I am like:

Ive heard some americans say the same thing, in mostly non somali populated areas they dont know about our country and who we are. Im talking specifically about the public.

i had multiple people in my classmate think that somalia is in Asia next to Bangladesh and India.

Compared to many cities its has infrastructure very peaceful Very much a fast growing city. it is where the PL presidential palace and parliament is located . it is pretty much a local media and cultural hub.

But like Paragon said the area must be low key safe and not a financial hub. So no!!
