We live in an increasingly interconnected world, The Earth is getting smaller and smaller in terms of human interaction. Hopefully this sort of predatory behavior will get called out more and more and countries like the US and the EU bloc will act to create some sort of financial and political structure to discourage loan sharking on sovereign level.
