USA and the West see China is heavily involved in my country and in Somalia. They are pushing Somalia and Somaliland to come to talk because they dont want SL to be taken by China. This Taiwan agreement just made the threat that much more alarming. Taiwan agreed to invest in every sector. Trade, Natural resources, Fisheries, agriculture.
