Ship builders etc. Meanwhile your children a bombarded with tik-toks of sharmutas doing degrading shit, mentally ill troons freaks talking about hormone therapy and doctors telling children as young as 12 to come in for STD screenings without their parent's knowledge

China is one country, the West is numerous.

Even the Soviet Union had several countries allied with them based on “communism”.

This Cold War with China is extremely overhyped. Most countries allied with China do so because they get something out of it.

The minute China stops funding infrastructure projects, people will turn to the West again.

There’s no ideology that ties China and its allied nations together unlike the West and its allies.

Also, China won't pass the US as the next global power because of declining birth rates, unable to get people to immigrate and integrate in chinese society, the country is surrounded by Western military bases and Western allies, most chinese allies do not believe in the ideology but they just want money from the Chinese government etc....

I don't think that we will ever see a country overtaking the US.
Germany (1945), USSR (1991) and Japan (1995) all failed.

I agree, it will have to take a coalition of nations to overtake the West.

Worst case scenario, they’ll become an entrenched global power for a few decades like the USSR was.

But they won’t knock the US off it’s perch.

Great point. So when they made the one child policy in China, Chinese were poor and jobless? More time? I can see them adopting western culture of workaholic culture and not have family. But Chinese is a conservative society tho-- plenty of stay at home moms. something is not right here

When they made the one child policy, it was because the birth rate was high so economic growth wasn't sustainable. It was overall a very conservative poor country with a high birth rate during the 1940's and 1950's.
China is not a conservative society when it comes to working, everyone works there so people do not want to waste money on having children.

I don't buy this. China is screwed because of their 1950s one child policy. Its catching up to them now. They just did the change in 2018. it will take another generation of 50 to 100 years for it to take effect

Yes they changed the policy but people do not want to have children anymore.
The problem that is affecting China is the same one that is affecting South Korea, Japan and the rest of the developped countries, people do not want kids anymore. It's a global phenomenon, birth rates are falling everywhere. Just google any country + birth rates and look at the results.
