Knowing how sensitive China is to the Taiwan independence issue, Somaliland should have known beforehand that there will be a blow back from China for forging ties with Taiwan.

Since China is a permanent member of the UN Security Council, Somaliland should not expect any headway in the UN from now on. It works in favor of the United Somalia though.

The Biixi regime should study the Saudi Arabia Taiwan relationship for starters.
