Some western nations like to arm both sides of the conflict for fun and never fully destroy terror cells because it's a monopoly game to them and they love toying with poor backwards countries. This government seem to not want to play the same game and fights back against incompetence.

If i was in a village with a known terrorist i would evacuate while they sleep and light the flare. Since somalia has no effective intelligence agency and no developed television network. Al shabaab easily slip into towns and no one recognises them. Here in SL tho we snitch on any new comer that's not well known or has no family in the land.

In the south its chaotic since they recruit minorities and no one knows anything about minority clans. The ppl in certain villages are also to scared to talk to authorities about them.
