It's not about protecting yourself, but preventing asymptomatic folks from spreading it. Westerners have an individualistic mindset and don't give a f*ck about others, while East Asians have a collectivist mindset and thus wear surgical masks to prevent their compatriots from being infected.

What got me pissed off is him saying hes gonna make reception, year 1 and 6 go back to school next month . I understand year 6 got their sats to do but these 4-7 year olds dont need to go anywhere. schools years nearly done.
