We created Galmudug and ignored the constitution and y’all huffed and puffed but accepted in the end.

How is Banadir going to become a federal state when it is only Hawiye who want it. Look at Washington DC the people living there get no representation because its the capital.

You think Darood gonna just allow another state tipping the balance? HSM is not a dumbass, he's not going to risk a political conflict, Banadir state is not happening. If were going to pretend were one country play by the rules.

HSM has promised Banadir citizens they will get full representation. If he doesn’t accomplish this then he’ll lose our support. I’m sure he’s more worried about losing the support of the states/qabiils the FGS controls rather than Daroods in PL and JL who have no effect on his Presidency given they aren’t controlled by the FGS and have zero power projection in Xamar.

He can get the support of enough SL fugitive MPs and bribe a few others from KG.

Banadir and Lower Shabelle as one state is a must. If PL starts crying the FGS should officially recognise both Sool and Sanaag as part of Somaliland

Baydhabo looks nice, makes me wonder why Raxanweyn dispersing everywhere leaving their beautiful city to work in other regions.

Thats usually people from rural regions. They are fleeing villages because of al shabaab and droughts.

The only negative thing folks there don't speak the boqor's afsomaali. Reer Banadir also don't but at least you kinda understand them

This can become a issue. But overtime as Baydhabo diversifies it will become less of a problem. Pre 91 Baydhabo was diverse with daarood specially majerten and ogaden and other clans living in baidoa language wasnt an issue. People mixed the two or spoke the one they knew.

This issue can be dealt with by baidoa coming directly under the FGS and capital of SWS being ofically moved to Baraawe. This way the state and its curriculum/ state language not get mixed with FGS capital and its affairs.

Obviously compared to mogadishu which gets a lot of investment its not gonna look very nice. But give it 10 years of being the capital its gonna look amazing.
