The reason why HG will never prosper, is because they see other people's achievements as a slight to them. Case in point, look at this grown man crying about Garacad Port. HG always act like they have something to prove, as if they are perpetually insecure. They need therapy and self-affirmation classes.

It's the biggest humiliation for them, that's why they are always silent. But we will remind them everyday and every hour, and we will laugh very merrily and very happily.The man literally said Garacad is a shame for us our politicians, citizens and scholars.
So what does he want Garacad to stay stagnant and undeveloped so Hobyo is not laughed at?

Yeah, personally we don't care what who builds. It's not in our nature to be envious however I'm not the bigger person. A lot of people say they are but not me. I think I will drive home the Hobyo fiasco for the forseeable. For 5 years what did we hear, from N&N, Isaaq, Hutu. That was a concerted effort, it was planned subjugation by economic and political means that united these parties. I'm not the bigger person.@repo

Qatar pledged to build the Port in 2019 but has been silent ever since then. Then in 2020, the HG wanted to raise money themselves. By 2022, they only managed to build a fishing pier.
Now, either they are scamming themselves (highly plausible), or a feasibility study has shown that it's not a suitable location due to whatever reason/s.
The CEO of the Hobyo Port, also said in this press-release, that Culusow wants to build a port in Mareeg. Now, a thinking mind would support that over a port in Hobyo that requires too much money (see below), is at risk of sinking (see below), and has no trade corridor. There is a reason why Damul Jadiid, a Neo-USC party, is refusing to meet HG elders to discuss the project.
I'm telling you, something is 'fishy' about this project and they know it.
