Its been 34 years since the collapse of his government, how much longer will yall keep using him as an excuse to avoid facing the harsh reality that the corrupt moryaans who took control of different parts of the country after him and refusing to put their differences aside is the reason for the country's stagnation?Blame this subhumanView attachment 378066

The mooryaans taking over is his fault. Without him, they wouldn’t have even existed in the first placeIts been 34 years since the collapse of his government, how much longer will yall keep using him as an excuse to avoid facing the harsh reality that the corrupt moryaans who took control of different parts of the country after him and refusing to put their differences aside is the reason for the country's stagnation?
Ok and? What happened, happened. We cannot change what already happened. How much longer will we allow them to hold our future hostage over unsettled beef and differences that are now older than most Somalis that are alive today? The mooryaans taking over is his fault. They are only familiar with somali politics or Somalia, which is why they say things like that. I've been on different countries online spaces and they all say the same thing. Somalia has definitely seen progress since the 2000s.You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Sure it improved but the progress is very slow and the reason for that is the rampant corruption in all parts of the country and constant political feud over past grievances, power, and qabyaalad. They are only familiar with somali politics or Somalia, which is they say this like that. I get your point you just didn't articulate it in the best way, very doomer-ish.Sure it improved but the progress is very slow and the reason for that is the rampant corruption in all parts of the country and constant political feud over past grievances, power, and qabyaalad.
Yeah I know. Im just tired of it all. I'm imagining that there is an entire generation who grew up without the normal life that other children and teenagers have experienced in most countries around the world. A generation who lost their childhood and education if you will. Its frustrating that we allowed it to go on for this long.I get your point you just didn't articulate it in the best way, very doomer-ish.

Yes. Let's blame a guy who left Mogadishu in 1991 , left Somalia all together in 1992. I'm sure mooryaans who immediately started turning on each other , killing, robbing for the entire 90s have nothing to do with the state of the country.Blame this subhumanView attachment 378066
It's BS and you know this. Nobody forced Caydiid and Cali Mahdi to act like animals after for years after Siad left.Siad barre had a great resposibility because of the war because he waged a war to take back mogadishu after 1991 , i think this caused the destruction really though he is respoinsible for the state collapse because he said him self dal waan ka tegi laakin dad ka tegi mayo so he left the land and but not the people.
cali mahdi and cayddiid have a some blame to.
i think cali mahdi caydiid and siyad barre these 3 are resposinble for the total state collapse
The main difference between us and everyone else is that no country has a complete government collapse. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Yeah I know. Its actually remarkable that we were able to rebuild a nation twice from scratch. Second time was after the US and Ethiopia overthrew the ICU government. Im just frustrated by the slow progression when we all know we are capable of much faster state building and development but held back by rampant corruption and political division based of qabyaalad. The main difference between us and everyone else is that no country has a complete government collapse.
During the entire 90s it was de facto anarchy and every man for himself, between 1997-2000 the government was officially vacant, nothing not even a fake powerless government. Things started to slowly improve around 2004ish and then 2010/2011. Overall Somalia had nothing you could seriously call a government from 1991 till the early 2000.
That's 10-15 years of chaos , countries like Congo Drc, Sudan, Yemen, Iraq, Afghanistan had bloodier wars but not such a long power vacuum.
I try to be balanced and TBH even if I dislike most Somali politicians the progress made in the last 15 years is remarkable if you just thinking about what Somalia was going through in the 90s and early 2000s
