Amhara is 22.77% urbanised the rest living in rural areas and if the government controls the main towns and higways then the gov controls about 22.7%.

It's not a Fano vs EDF map directly, that does not exist in a murky conflict like this. The thing to note is that in the same report it says
The Bugna is in North Wollo Zone, strictly a Fano controlled area. This impasse broken via a ceasefire initiated by the Wollo Fano faction and *federal security forces* which was mediated by the local religious leaders. Bugna is just one place the corroborates Fanos control.
As we know the TPLF has been fragmented between the Getachew Reda and the Debretsion Gebremichael leading to Getachews seeking refuge in Addi.
But why was Getachew ousted? He tried to get Abyi to "provide necessary assistance" due to what he felt a coup occuring and a breakdown of the Pretoria Agreement. The same week he was ousted, Mekelle was now under Debretsions' TPLF and Adigrat was taken too. Abyi appointed a new interim president, Tadesse Worede’s (Getachew has been shown to be powerless), who is of the Debetsion faction and this faction is strong-arming any opposition in the state.
The Debretsion branch is currently doing Tsimdo (reconciliation) with Eritrea. The same branch is in control Mekelle the capital of tigray and there is a tplf resistance brewing southward due to this mending of relationship with Eritrea. Its a layered mess that keeps getting fractured. Like they just kicked one of the tigray regions head out of his position and installed a new guy with a heavily armed escort.
Addis is beautiful like I said, but don't be the demographic an African tyrant tries to trick. Dorodango is still a mud ball.
