somaliland betrayed Ethiopia already once with no repruccisions when they took back 19% of berbera port. I think this deal short sighted but not out of norm for somali politics. Many FMS and fgs have done bad deal with foreigners. We also have many towns in somali region of ethiopa leave to join for better representation and join Oromia. Somali people fell off just be glad yall in west I’ve gotten to the point where I’m thinking we will not be anything worthwhile in our lifetime in any somali territory in Africa. Marry back home and bring more folks to west is my advice for girls and boys

I think a lot of Somalis don’t think long term when in survival mode. Wrongs from 30yrs ago and clan clashes pushing people into enemy hands in hopes for something better even if it’s long shot dream
