Xaarmaajo and Kheyrlaawe must be either retarded as f*ck, or this is clear case of musuq maasuq. You pick!

To appoint a young kid with no experience shows once again the failure of a.

In civilized countries this is regarded as chief justice:

Blame 4.5 system.
What was the qualifications of the previous guy?

Wallah i fucking hate that system.

Just put the damn right guy for the job.

If this means only one clan can provide for every position, then so be it.
We must look at the competences of the person, not the vile clan.

This announcement will increase our status as the laughing stock of the world.

Somaliland attorney general.

He has a Masters degree in Law from the UK. He beats out a lot of the former Taxi Drivers that are serving in the government. :manny:

"Baashe Yusuf Ahmed is a 36-year-old lawyer born in Hargeisa, Somaliland in 1982. He obtained his law degree from the University of Hargeisa in 2008 and then a Master’s Degree in Commercial and Maritime Law in 2014 from the University of Hertfordshire under the UK government’s Chevening scholarship programme for students with leadership qualities.

Prior to that, he served as the programme officer for the United States NGO Mercy Corps in Hargeisa where they empowered people to recover from crisis, build better lives and transform their communities for good.

He served as the Director General of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of Somaliland between 2010 and 2012 and upon his return from the UK, he returned to Mercy Corps as its Youth Employment Technical Advisor.

While lecturing at the University of Hargeisa from 2014, Yusuf Ahmed also served as a consultant for UNDP and the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs where he used to work. He also worked as a legal advisor for the Somaliland parliament and other international agencies including the German development agency GIZ."

He's qualified when it comes to the pool of candidates available. He's inexperienced, but with his education background, I think it's a quality selection. Good on Mr.Cheese for passing the lantern to the younger generation. He's also a Wadani supporter:cool:

You mock the brother, but I believe home-grown candidates should be given a chance to serve. It is not his fault he was born into a generation that didn't have the same educational opportunities as the ciyaal kacaan. Guys like him give me hope for the future of Somalia. :manny:

He's related to the prime minister and he was the supporter of a secessionist movement. He's 36 years old and has never sat in a courtroom. He's not remotely qualified and should have been disqualified. You guys are seriously .......

So if he isn't Hawiye, he's unqualified, got it!

Abdi Samatar lives in an ivory tower at the University of Minnesota, he isn't to be taken seriously. His field of specialization is also Geography which isn't a particularly academic rigorous discipline at all. Most of what he proposes as "Solutions" for the Somali people are little more than pipe dreams.
