I don't think voting makes a difference. One puppet will just be replaced with the other, all their successors are the same. Voting gives the illusion of choice, which keeps the public docile. They have the choices provided to the people to pick from. We're always voting from many heads of the same monster.

What I don't get is why so many of them leave China for North America. Like the university I go to theres so many of them and they are very rich too. And I remember in middle/HS they made up majority of the new students coming here. Like its not only the kid coming here but they bring every generation of their family.
most of the Chinese students in the West failed the gaokao or had a lower score than desirable and are rich. their wealthy parents send them to Western uni's. That is why you see so many wealthy Chinese in the west.

I visited China. It is the most convenient country for its citizens (a bit of pain for foreigners). Everything is easy. The streets are clean, trains work, and airports are new. There are almost no homeless people and no thieves. It would be great if Somalia could reach even 10 percent of modern-day China!

Visited Shanghai, Chongqing, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Xi'an, and Beijing.
Infrastructure-wise, the tier ones like the ones above have better infrastructure than any city in North America. It's not even close. I was able to go from the Chengdu airport (50 km away from the city) to my hotel for 8 RMB (1 USD) via their metro. These cities are first-world level.
Old people in China can be hit or miss, but the young are very friendly and will come up to you to talk, they usually don't speak any English.
