Soma Oil is a Shell project which is owned by the British/Dutch (Rothschild) whom have a deal with Qatar whom bought the largest shares, hence the PM can only be a puppet of Qatar and thus by extension Turkey

There is stiff competition in the LNG markets which Qatar dominates currently but the USA is trying to enter it aggressively through Europe by placing sanctions on Nordstream 2 project (Russia) which all the Germanic/Scandinavian/Slavic countries support and are heavily invested prompting the EU to threaten sanction against the American's whom want to export their own GAS to Europe.

The British as usual are in bed with everyone, since Brexit they signed a 100 million deal with Turkey to jointly build their new fighter aircraft's as well as technology transferals which angered the Germanic countries (it was done to spite them), it's not the first time they allied with the Turks.

In Somalia the British have a deal with the Turks to train the SNA but a portion of the American elites including Ethiopian's/UAE/Saudi's all oppose this, you would think they are all united but their hearts are all over the place, there is a divergence of interest groups that are clashing head on and this will get worse as time goes on.

1. He misrepresents the issue by saying its four governments against one, but in fact it's three (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt) vs three (Qatar, Turkey, Iran)

2. He says our biggest interests lie with Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Egypt who he says are our closest allies. But he completely ignores Turkey's outsized role in Somalia. This point is also an exaggeration. None of these countries are really allies. Saudi Arabia regularly puts bans on Somali livestock and has bigger interests in Ethiopia, and Egypt is interested in Somalia only as a chip against Ethiopia's nile dam ambitions. UAE is ambiguous, but it's also an obviously self-interested country and our interests may not always be in synch (I don't think they want Somali competitor ports). In sum, none of these countries have acted as allies, they are just playing real politick.

3. He appears to think that Somalia's job is to jump one one side's bandwagon instead of making an independent decision as to its foreign policy. The entire AU has refused to take a side, Ethiopia has refused, many countries have refused to take a side in this conflict, why does Somalia have to act like a puppet? Why can't it be neutral? The fat ass former prime minister does not give a reason. Maybe he has personal interests in supporting one side.
