What do you write on your census? I remember when I was getting COVID Vax the option for ethnicity had Black, Arab, Native, Asian and Mixed. There is one box that is empty for “Other” I wrote “Somali Cushitic”

It's obvious that the only reason for this is geography. Somalia is in the Horn of Africa, and literally a canoe ride away from West Asian. Humans migrate all the time. It's a sensible location for genetic material to move in and out from. Every intermediary geographical location is the same. South Asian has Eurasian and Australasian DNA. Central Asia has East Asian and Eurasian DNA. The Sahel belt has populations like the Fulani. Shit ain't surprising.
Sample size: 95 people. Central Limit Theorem for people who never took a stats class: the idea that a sufficient enough sample size can represent the population. Generally a sample size of 30 is sufficient.
Blue is Sub-Saharan DNA, particularly Nilo-Saharan. Red is West Asian. Green is North African. A 60-25-15 split. Makes sense, as West Asia is closer to Somalia than North Africa.
I still consider myself black, cause saying you're a mixed ancient ethnic group is weird. As the majority of our autosomal dna is black, makes sense to just consider ourselves black.
The real weirdos are the ones that think we're Caucasian like in that Masaman vid. That half white half mongoloid is weird as fk.

But contextually speaking, mixed implies your parents are from two different racial backgrounds. A full Somali would have a Somali mom and dad. And you can't be multiethnic if you're Somali, that's just one ethnicity.

Mixed (as used in casual conversation): an individual with parents from two different races.
Obviously Somalis don't fit this description.

Your interpretation of mixed being incorrect because we're a full ethnic group falls into definition number 1.
