Not always true. I've met many a friendly, affectionate cat. There was one I know who died recently who really broke my heart. She was such a sweet girl. Would let you pet her, hold her and cuddle her for hours without ever once snapping at you with bites or scratches. Every time I visited the animal shelter's cattery she'd come hobbling over to be petted. I miss her, wallahi.
