As a Somali who has never been to Somalia and kinda sacred to go, if I were to choose between the two I’ll pick any Somali city, heck I’ll even choose to go to j!l!b than to go to Haiti, what are you even talking about comparing the two.

we are not in a civil war anymore (if you exclude what happened between SL and SSC), yes there is poverty and poor living conditions, but we don’t have active warfare or gang bangs in majority of the cities. You want to tell me haiti is better than hargeisa, than garowe, and than Mogadishu?

What we are talking about here is the gangs not which country is richer. You say gangs is a small issue, can you tell me why Haiti has never had a good country in their whole life ever since slavery was abolished? Look at their neighbouring country for comparison. Dominican Republic is 10000X better than them, they also have gang issues that didn’t stop them from reaching where they are now.
