I’ve been trying to educate my maadow and Latino friends, but no. Statist ajnabis believe that Somalia is messed up because of no government, when it’s the exact opposite. His regime was characterised by corruption, nepotismand the progressive building of inter-clan tension. Trying to make everyone qabil equal to attempt to reorder society and end tribal/clan institutions by declaring the country a socialist state.9However, many rejected the centralised state authority. It causes resentment. I believe the major reason why Somali music is less developed than other Africans is because of government regulations. I believe centralized government is counterproductive to the Somali mindset. But I’m a weirdo.
@GlitzyCue_ Is it just me or it seems like foreign intervention and influences are a major problem in Somalia, too ? Sharia law was brought in by Arabs and AIDS through Bantus. I read the Somalia actually had some of cases to HIV/AIDS in Africa and comparable to some western nations. I don’t trust the African Union.They seem shady

And the tribes weren’t treated equally. The best examples of a democratic government was the SYL presidents. For a centralized government to work all the regions have to be equal, if ur only building up the capitol and rest of the country is dirt poor obviously people will be resentful. I’m talking about true equality not this fake .5 bullshit we mask as being equal.

as for music it’s all due to not having the resources same thing with education, safety and infrastructure.
Foreign influences is a major problem in all of Africa
African leaders are incompetent and the west is taking advantage of the greed.

You are right, one of the few ways forward is either real federalism or an confederation. Our people don't like to be governed by a single city we are to bougy for that. Maybe an council of regional presidents with an council president and cabinet who interacts with the IC and have authority over the army, national economy and army for instance.

Xamar must become an ceremonial, political capital not the economical nor the tourism capital. We need to diversify the capitals responsibilities amongst the federal capitals to please every region in the union. Xamar has an amazing history yet it also has an horrible history. Let it become the capital for politcs etc, we need to shine light on Hargeisa and all other fms capitals.
