I agree - the NDP, the other major leftist party in Canada is led by a nice guy who people like, but didn't vote for. The NDP were willing to make a coalition government with the minority Liberals, but Trudeau (not the Liberal Party) refused. Now Trudeau is trying to get the Cons and the Quebec-separatists to support his government's agenda, instead of working with the NDP - all this will do is trigger another election in a year or two and pave the way for a Conservative majority as soon as they have a new leader
