yeah bro. they get denied jobs and then offer to do the work for half the pay. These guys are destroying competitive wages. I’m oretty sure immigration has slowed down since trump has been in office tho.

They are all over ontario and they’re still coming. Canada is finished. They found a loop hole with the student visas and will not be returning back home.

They even discriminate with housing. It’s not uncommon with indian landlords requesting indian tenets only

Canada like argentina has a lot of similarities. Canada has a lot of debt public and private , a housing crises, declining productivity and competiveness and is dependent on population for for economic growth.

The difference is tho canada have stronger institutions , reserve currency advantage, investor confidence and a lot of resources we can potentially tap in. If liberals win will still see the same problems with minor tweaks. i’m not too sure what the conservatives are bringing to the table but i hope they scrape climate initiatives and start taking advantages of our resources and build pipelines.

Yeah foreigners from mostly china would buy apartments condos and houses no one would live in them. The government “banned” them but the found loopholes likes having a student visa or work permit. Chinese students would could hear as ubi students but would buy property under their name using their families money and become land lords. I think the market might crash. 2024 ther average debt per household was 200k with mortgages being 3/4s of that number. with the cost of living rising and population increasing as well as inflation and wages remaining stagnant i won’t be surprise we see mass foreclosures if this keeps up for the next few years. personally i’m hoping for a crash so i can take advantage of the market

I never said that, Ontario gdp would be about 5th or 6th in the U.S. but that also includes a ton of American companies operating there obviously. The usual big suspects, McDonald’s, Starbucks, etc. make up about 15% of Canada and Ontario’s economy. Incomes in Canada are what are at the bottom, similar to Mississippi, Alabama, etc.
