Can you tell if someone is Somali by just there voice?

My moms side clan does have ties with them and lives there, but she ultimately identifies as Somali since we are all sheekhash and my dad is just regular ol Somali

Depends on their upbringing. If they’ve learnt at least some Somali they have a unique Somali phonetics.

I can tell 95% are Somali from their voice but if they can’t even say Wallahi with a Somali twang then no.

Well even the most whitewashed blacks and Africans still sound like there ethnic group maybe it has to do with things like skull shape, jaw, mouth position idk

I was in the library when a somalized Philippino guy approached me and ask me if I'm somali. I was like how did you know? He proceeds, I could tell you are somali by your voice. You sound like one of my abdi friends' hoyo. Then he clarified not my accent but how I sound lol

I don’t know how but I can almost always recognize somali girls voices, like the teenagers, regardless if they speak somali or even have an accent, I can just tell they’re somali.
