Again, I'm looking at through a strictly productivity point of view. The longer women spend in school = lower fertility. That simple. It simply makes no sense for a society to just let it's most capable women become a genetic dead end. That is how you get an idiocracy with society just degrading.

There's an stat of where women with a degree in Ethiopia have less than 2 kids while women with no education have about 5-6. You can't really do anything too transformative unless that dynamic is flipped.

One thing I hate about humans and maybe it's their brain chemistry. But everytime they see something bad or negative, they go to another extreme state opposite it. The best idea is a solution in between not extreme opposites.

High birth rates has plenty of negatives on a society which u don't present to asssess the 'trade' off if it's worth it vs low birth rate. High birth rate means more burden on existing resources, harder to develop economy also as proven with india vs china who controlled it's population when developing.

The high or low birth rate is better having 'quality' population like Jews, their tiny yet very powerful/influential and existed quite fine thru rigourous attachment to Israel/Judasim over 4000 years which is a pretty good stretch and longest on record that is alive in the most unfavorable conditions.

Somalis even 1 or 2 generations are predicted to die out in their modern day exile, so that's why u can see why some think these guys must be blessed or a miracle as no human group could survive such long persecution and exile and still hold onto it's identity. Honestly i think the best thing we can do it ensure the top 10% of the society have more children. Each man who is in the top 10% should be encouraged to have 4 wives.

Its qaulity over quantity. If we can ensure the people with money and best genetics can pass on their genes. Im sure somalis will be thriving.
